A discovery service is used to allow users to pick their own Home Organisation IdP. SWAMID operates a central discovery service based on the SAML 2.0 Discovery Protocol. |
Services and Endpoints
Since 2015 june 2020 SWAMID uses the common NORDUnet discovery servicehas the following recommendation regarding Discovery Services:

Test
There is also a test discovery service that in addition to swamid-2.0.xml contains everything in swamid-testing-1.0.xml which can be used for test and pre-production use.
